This place makes me want to move to Michigan. I’m still eating here as I write this. I eat a lot of ramen and this was one of the best bowls of ramen in my life! The duck fat chicken is a nice touch! Also the sushi is exceptional.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Allergy Friendly! I was so pleasantly surprised at how seriously Slurping Turtle took my food allergies. The waiter went and checked with the kitchen staff and they told me they have three separate people checking the ingredients in the kitchen as well as making sure that nothing had egg in what I received. It was not only delicious but also very reassuring considering that I was just in the hospital over gross negligence at a wedding venue the weekend prior to my visit.

Great place and have eaten here many times. Received a little attitude from the hostess this time 4/30/26. Food was delicious and always love the appetizer brussel sprouts. Beautiful presentation! Great service from JEFF! Always gracious and works hard!

Hakata Tonkatsu Ramen is one of the best I’ve ever had. The broth is rich and deeply flavorful. It comes with not one, not two, but three thick, generous pieces of pork belly—actual pork belly, not the thinner chashu you get at most places. The pork belly bao was decent, though $5 felt a bit pricey. That said, the small side of salad that comes with it was a nice touch. One thing worth mentioning: the bathroom isn’t just clean—it’s thoughtfully stocked with feminine hygiene supplies, which is a big plus.

Went to this place a some of the guys on a Friday Night. Heard many great things of the place but never had the time to stop by. I had to reserve and wait about a hour because I didn't realize a famous TV star was in town that same date and had 2 shows so downtown AA was slammed everywhere. Well worth the wait. We had 1 of our friends who never had sushi with us. We all order different rolls and shared. I loved the dragon roll. The waitress was amazing and very friendly and informative to give me what things were her favs etc. I forgot the name of the Ramen I had but it was really good! Not the best I've ever had but solid. I do believe if I had tried my original plan of food I would have liked it more but it was still good. The place was loud and packed but we still enjoyed our time. The fried chicken additions were very great and I plan to come back again to experience more of the menu. Only complaint is parking but its Ann Arbor so we just deal with it and park a few blocks away in a garage. Overall we were satisfied.
